2nd Shift – Wood Cut

Are you a night owl with a knack for precision and detail? Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team. This role involves the meticulous cutting and handling of wood materials, essential for creating high-quality packaging solutions.
Responsibilities of the 2nd Shift – Wood Cut
Operate wood cutting machinery to acquire specified dimensions and designs.
Interpret cutting templates or blueprints to produce accurate cuts.
Inspect wood materials for defects before and after cutting.
Ensure all cuts meet quality and dimensional standards as per client or project requirements.
Organize and store cut pieces efficiently to minimize waste and damage.
Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ensure safe handling of cutting tools and machinery.
Assist in packaging or assembly processes if needed.
Requirements of the 2nd Shift – Wood Cut
Experience with wood cutting machines or other cutting tools is preferable.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Basic understanding of measurements and precision tools.
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Capability to lift and handle materials, typically up to 50 pounds.
Compensation/Benefits for the 2nd Shift – Wood Cut
$16.00/HR
Monday to Friday from 2pm to 10:30pm (with mandatory OT some Saturdays)
