Assembler

Are you passionate about precision and quality in assembly? Our client is seeking a dedicated Assembler to join their team in the Worcester area. As a key player on the production line, you will utilize your skills in assembly to contribute to the creation of high-quality parts.

Responsibilities of the Assembler

Assemble and perform testing of high altitude pressure suit garments, helmets and associate hardware
Punch holes and install snap fasteners in various components
Perform lacing and hand sewing of various suit layers & components
Classroom trainer of field suit technicians on maintenance and periodic overhaul procedures
Soldering Experience.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure product standards are met.
Escalate assembling issues to the production supervisor as needed.
Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools.
Perform other duties as required to support the production team.

Requirements of the Assembler

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and assembly instructions.
Ability and familiarity with the use of hand tools ex screwdriver, hole punch and dead blow mallet, scissors, etc. and other manually operated tools
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to evolving production needs.

Compensation/Benefits for the Assembler

$17.50 hourly
Monday to Friday / 7am to 3:30pm
