Are you ready to be a vital part of a dynamic production team? Our client is seeking skilled Assemblers to join their team and ensure the seamless flow of materials and activities on the production floor. If you have a knack for planning and scheduling, this opportunity is for you!
Responsibilities of the Assemblers
Study production activity to plan and schedule materials, personnel, and activities.
Anticipate needs by collaborating with sales, engineering, and other personnel.
Develop and record production and work assignments based on material, equipment, and personnel availability.
Prepare and follow up on master schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Work with Sales and Manufacturing groups to allocate orders in the proper sequence.
Maintain contact with manufacturing departments to track the completion of parts and assemblies.
Monitor and expedite inventory of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
Requirements of the Assemblers
3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing planner role.
Strong math and analytical skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Access, and ERP/MRP systems.
Ability to read, understand, and evaluate MRP rules and inquiry screens.
Experience in creating and monitoring job orders and purchase orders.
Capability to assist in streamlining planning and scheduling processes.
