Job Title: General Warehouse
Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Hours: 7:00 AM start time
Pay Rate: $17.25 per hour
Job Description:
The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of labor-intensive warehouse duties in support of daily operations. This position primarily involves unboxing copiers and parts, preparing copiers to be rolled into the shop, and assisting with general material handling tasks. The role requires consistent physical activity in a fast-paced warehouse environment that is not fully climate controlled. Associates will work in and out of trailers and must be able to meet productivity and safety standards while contributing to the overall success of the team.
Responsibilities:
• Perform general warehouse and labor duties including unboxing copiers and parts and preparing equipment for shop processing.
• Load, unload, push, pull, and move materials and equipment throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, stocking, order pulling, and material handling as needed.
• Operate powered and non-powered material handling equipment as required (training provided).
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and tidiness of assigned warehouse areas.
• Work efficiently at a rapid pace to meet deadlines and productivity goals.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Team Lead.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of warehouse experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, push, and pull for extended periods of time.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be eligible to work in the US
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
• Must be willing to submit to a background screen
