Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Folder Gluer / Die Cut Operator with 5 + Years Bobst equipment expertise to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining folder gluing and die-cutting machinery to produce high-quality packaging products. Your technical proficiency and attention to detail will ensure efficient production workflows, adherence to quality standards, and timely completion of orders. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment focused on precision and excellence.

Duties

  • Operate, set up, and troubleshoot Bobst folder gluer and die-cutting machines to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
  • Read and interpret job orders, specifications, and technical drawings to execute precise machine adjustments.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with prepress and manufacturing teams to ensure materials are prepared correctly for production runs.
  • Monitor production processes closely, making adjustments as necessary to meet quality standards and production deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of job setups, machine parameters, and quality checks throughout the production cycle.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed consistently in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Assist in training new operators on Bobst equipment operation and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years Proven experience operating Bobst folder gluer and die-cutting machinery within a manufacturing or packaging environment.
  • Strong understanding of prepress processes, material handling, and machine setup procedures.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation for material movement within the facility.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing principles, including quality control and safety standards.
  • Experience with flexo presses, machining, or related equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams.
