CNC Machinist
Devens, MA
$23 to $35 per hour
We are hiring an experienced CNC Machinist to operate, set up, and program CNC milling machines to produce high-precision parts in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines and related equipment.
Read and interpret CAD drawings and SolidWorks models to ensure accurate part production.
Adjust tooling, offsets, and machine settings to maintain tight tolerances.
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Use hand tools and measuring instruments to inspect and assemble parts.
Work with engineering to improve tooling and machining processes.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Requirements
Previous experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of CNC programming and machining operations such as milling and turning.
Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.
Experience with CAD software is preferred.
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and inspection equipment.
Able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a typical machine shop environment.
