Document Control Associate
Westborough, MA

Are you detail-oriented with a knack for organization? Our client is seeking a Document Control Associate to join their team in Westborough, MA. This role involves the creation and maintenance of assembly and customer documentation, as well as coordinating ERP updates to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities of the Document Control Associate

  • Upload, verify, edit, and release bills of material into the ERP through the new product introduction process.

  • Perform ERP updates to maintain current standard costs, lead-times, operation numbers, and other relevant data.

  • Assign and implement ECO numbers and changes in the ERP system.

  • Maintain the ECO process and attach completed ECOs to the ERP system.

  • Update and link electronic documentation as required.

  • Conduct line-for-line reviews of documentation to identify bill of material changes.

  • Create, maintain, and distribute product folders as needed.

  • Support and adhere to all ISO standards related to various Quality Management Systems.

  • Contribute to corporate and site 6S objectives.

Requirements of the Document Control Associate

  • Strong technical and verbal communication skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in operating photocopying and scanning equipment.

  • Ability to interpret basic customer specifications.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and electronic file management.

  • Working knowledge of ESD awareness and ISO standards.

  • High School Diploma or GED required; 1 year in a manufacturing environment preferred.
