Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Extrusion Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic products. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, quality inspection, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion machinery, ensuring optimal performance and product quality.
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections using tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product meets standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any operational challenges.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations.
• Document production data and report any discrepancies or concerns to management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plastics extrusion or related fields such as plastics blow molding or plastics injection molding is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand logic controllers and operate machinery effectively.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
• Experience with quality inspection techniques and tools, including calipers and micrometers.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
