Are you passionate about creating high-quality, design-forward furniture? Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Commercial Spray Finisher. This role is crucial in ensuring the final appearance and quality of their seating and furniture products. Responsibilities of the Finishing Department
Prepare wood components for finishing, including sanding, scuffing, cleaning, and masking.
Spray/apply finishes to wood components according to production standards.
Inspect finished parts for quality, consistency, and defects.
Perform touch-ups and rework as needed.
Operate and maintain spray guns, spray booths, and finishing tools.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe finishing area.
Follow all safety procedures, environmental requirements, and PPE guidelines.
Coordinate with production to meet daily and weekly output needs.
Requirements of the Finishing Department
Prior commercial spray finishing experience required.
Experience finishing wood components in a production or shop environment.
Attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Ability to follow work instructions and finish requirements.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working in a spray and finishing environment.
Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators.
Physical ability to stand, reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Compensation/Benefits for the Finishing Department
Full-time schedule with typical hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
