Machine Operator – 3rd Shift
Pay: $23.00/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

We are seeking a Machine Operator for a 3rd shift position supporting the production of solvent-based lamination products in a manufacturing environment.

This role is focused on roll-to-roll lamination equipment, so prior roll-to-roll manufacturing experience is required. Candidates may come from a variety of industries, including paper, film, packaging, converting, coating, or similar continuous-process manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

  • Set up manufacturing machines, including cleaning, calibration, and preparation for production runs.
  • Operate and monitor roll-to-roll lamination equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production.
  • Control and adjust machine settings such as speed, tension, and other operating conditions as needed.
  • Work with chemicals and solvents as part of the lamination process while following all safety procedures and required protective equipment standards.
  • Inspect materials and finished output using precision measuring tools and visual quality checks.
  • Test machine operation periodically and troubleshoot issues that arise during the shift.
  • Identify and correct machine-related problems, defects, or production flaws.
  • Maintain accurate records of approved product, defective product, and production activity.
  • Follow production procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements at all times.

Qualifications of Machine Operator:

Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Roll-to-roll experience is required.

  • Experience with lamination, converting, coating, film, paper, or similar continuous web-process manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers is a plus.
  • Ability to understand production procedures and follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong attention to quality, safety, and consistency.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. A technical degree is a plus.

Physical Requirements of Machine Operator:

  • Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with prolonged standing and repetitive movement.
