Maintenance Technician 1

Are you a skilled technician with a knack for keeping things running smoothly? Our client is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician 1 to join their team and ensure the seamless operation of their manufacturing and facility equipment. This role is crucial in minimizing downtime and maintaining equipment reliability to support continuous production.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician 1
Perform routine preventative maintenance on production machinery, conveyors, and facility equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Respond to maintenance work orders and prioritize tasks based on production needs.
Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Support installation, setup, and modification of equipment as needed.
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work closely with production, supervisors, and other maintenance team members.
Requirements of the Maintenance Technician 1
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
1-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, or bend for extended periods.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

$24.00 TO $28.00
