Manufacturing Associate

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for precision and problem-solving? Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Manufacturing Associate. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of CNC machines and maintaining high standards of production efficiency.

Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Associate

  • Set tooling for CNC machines with precision and accuracy.

  • Use and interpret tooling set-up sheets effectively.

  • Match diameters and lengths for multiple spindle operations.

  • Identify and select proper holders using A through G dimensions.

  • Maintain proper inventory, considering usage and latest tooling revisions.

  • Monitor tool usage, paying particular attention to abnormal usage or breakage.

  • Collaborate with the Cutter Department, Purchasing, and vendors.

  • Troubleshoot with the CNC team when tooling problems occur.

  • Maintain the tooling budget efficiently.

  • Calibrate and maintain the parlec tool setter.

  • Offer suggestions for job improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
     

Requirements of the Manufacturing Associate 

  • Proven experience in setting tooling for CNC machines.

  • Ability to interpret and utilize tooling set-up sheets.

  • Strong understanding of spindle operations and holder dimensions.

  • Experience in inventory management and tooling revisions.

  • Keen attention to detail in monitoring tool usage and identifying issues.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams.

  • Familiarity with maintaining tooling budgets and calibration equipment.

Compensation/Benefits for the Manufacturing Associate $18.00
