Are you passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene? Our client is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Associate for the 3rd shift to ensure their production areas, equipment, and facilities meet rigorous company standards and food safety regulations. Join our client's team and play a crucial role in supporting a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the Overnite Sanitation
Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, walls, and other areas according to established schedules and procedures.
Disassemble and reassemble machinery for thorough cleaning, ensuring all components are sanitized properly.
Safely handle and use cleaning sanitizing agents according to company and OSHA guidelines.
Dispose of waste and recyclables in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Inspect cleaned areas and equipment to verify cleanliness standards are met.
Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities and report any equipment damage or maintenance needs.
Follow all safety, quality, and food handling standards (GMP, HACCP, etc.).
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure cleaning does not disrupt operations.
Requirements of the Overnite Sanitation
Ability to work the 3rd shift and adapt to a flexible schedule as needed.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Familiarity with cleaning agents and equipment, and understanding of OSHA guidelines.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Basic record-keeping skills to document sanitation activities accurately.
