Payrate:  $ 17.00/HR
Hours:  7am to 3:30pm

SUMMARY

Primary responsibility includes receiving supplies and parts, checking packing slips and other receiving documents for accuracy of shipment familiarity with purchase order creation procedures as back-up. Maintain parts inventory levels and organization in the store room and large tool/ ladder storage cage. Familiarize yourself with parts specific to our operations. Must maintain company’s tools in good operating condition and be able to make minor repairs (such as replace cords & brushes). Must be aware of Lean Six Sigma and 5S Philosophy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • High level of organizational ability and attention to detail is required in order to process received goods properly and store those items in their proper location.
  • Maintain the store room parts and supplies at appropriate inventory levels, adjusting as needed, and communicating re-order requirements to the Lead Logistic Coordinator.
  • Maintain neat and clean parts room at all times and recommend ways to improve efficiency and reduce downtime and provide optimal level of customer services.
  • Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves according to identifying information such as style, size or type of material.
  • Issue shop tools and maintain in good working condition
  • Fills orders or issues supplies from stock.
  • Mark identifying codes, figures or letters on articles.
  • Distribute stock among production workers documents the material issued.
  • Makes adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock.
  • Determine method of storage, identification and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading, capacities and required space.
  • Cut stock to size to fill order.
  • Sort, move, or transport material or supplies to other departments.
  • Maintain inventory and other stock documentation.
  • Customer focus achieving Company, department, and personal goals through a strong customer focus.
  • Work closely with the customer to ensure service satisfaction.
  • Greet all customers and vendors with a smile and ask questions when necessary.
  • Champion the store room parts organization improvement process and continually make or suggest changes to further that process.
  • Have a can do attitude, being self-sufficient, self-motivated, proactive, and determined.
  • Must be able to work overtime if necessary.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
