Procurement Specialist

Schedule: Full Time
Pay Range: $50,000 – $55,000 salary

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands on Vendor Procurement Specialist to support the full procurement cycle within a fast paced corporate environment. This role focuses on supplier sourcing, RFP management, vendor negotiations, contract administration, purchasing agreements, and ongoing vendor relationship management.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail oriented professional who can manage vendor coverage, negotiate pricing and scope, and ensure timely completion of procurement deliverables. This position plays a critical role in supporting operational efficiency and vendor performance across assigned regions.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and monitor vendor coverage for materials and services to ensure business needs are met
• Research and recruit new vendors as needed
• Negotiate vendor pricing, scope, and contract terms
• Draft, publish, and follow up on RFPs to ensure timely receipt of quotations
• Maintain and update standard RFP templates and vendor agreements
• Issue purchasing agreements and purchase orders and track signed documentation
• Review and process vendor invoices in coordination with Accounts Payable
• Coordinate material returns and defective components to ensure credits and replacements are processed
• Analyze vendor performance and provide reporting to leadership
• Maintain ongoing vendor relationships to support long term operational goals
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• College degree preferred
• Customer service experience required
• Full cycle vendor procurement or supply chain experience preferred
• Fire protection industry knowledge preferred
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
