Overview:
The Production Operator is responsible for assembling and testing components used in lithium-ion battery manufacturing. This role requires attention to detail, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
4/ 10's Monday – Thursday 5am-4pm
$17/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and test various lithium-ion battery components according to established procedures.
Load cells, align connectors, and perform soldering tasks with precision.
Monitor and operate automated equipment, ensuring proper function and output quality.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to rejected or defective parts.
Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety guidelines and protocols.
Collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in cross-training to support multiple departments and production needs.
Handle frequent lifting of materials and components (up to 50 lbs.).
Qualifications:
Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production tools/equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Willingness to learn, cross-train, and support team objectives.
