Senior Claims Manage located in Central Massachusetts (Onsite 4 days a week)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Claims Manager to join a well-known retail chain headquartered in Central Massachusetts. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively oversee claims operations, develop strategies to mitigate risks, and lead a team of claims professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of claims processing and resolution.
• Develop and implement claims policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a team of claims staff, fostering professional development.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve complex claims.
• Analyze claims data to identify trends, assess risks, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of claims metrics and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in claims management, ideally within retail or related sectors.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze complex claims and negotiate settlements effectively.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in claims management.
• Experience with insurance policies, risk mitigation, and compliance standards.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with environmental and international claims.
• Certifications such as CCP, AIC, or CPCU are a plus.

Additional Information:

• This position is onsite in Central Massachusetts, requiring presence four days a week.
• Travel is minimal and may occasionally be required for specific claims or meetings.
