Masis Staffing has an exciting opportunity for an Embedded Die Repair Associate to support one of our valued manufacturing clients! This full-time position offers the chance to work directly on-site at a customer facility, performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on cutting dies used in production.
Responsibilities of the Embedded Die Repair Associate
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair or revise dies during production to minimize downtime.
Perform die revisions and replace worn or damaged components.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve recurring tooling issues.
Document all repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance activities.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety and quality standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on tooling performance and life cycle.
Operate toolroom machinery such as grinders, chisels, and jigs.
Communicate effectively with both customer and company leadership regarding repair needs and tool conditions.
Manage and organize tooling inventory and maintain die-making equipment to OEM standards.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed.
Requirements of the Embedded Die Repair Associate
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing or die-cutting environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately.
Excellent problem-solving, time-management, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer and ERP data-entry skills.
Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.
