Warehouse Coordinator

Are you passionate about maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment? Our client is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Coordinator to join their team and ensure the seamless movement and accuracy of inventory. This role is pivotal in optimizing space utilization and minimizing discrepancies in the finished goods warehouse.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Coordinator
Maintain the finished goods warehouse in an organized manner, ensuring similar materials are grouped together and adequate spacing is provided.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with the warehouse and inventory control team.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper movement of finished goods from the transfer dock to the main warehouse and efficient, accurate picking for customer orders.
Ensure inventory is properly stored, labeled, and rotated.
Generate inventory reports and provide data analysis to support operational decisions.
Comply with safety and quality standards in inventory handling.
Coordinate and execute inventory consolidation efforts to optimize space and improve inventory accuracy.
Assist in rework processing, including identifying, segregating, and tracking items requiring rework and ensuring proper documentation.
Requirements of the Warehouse Coordinator
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in logistics or supply chain preferred.
2+ years of experience in warehouse inventory control or related field.
Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse safety procedures is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying warehouse conditions (temperature, noise, etc.).
Compensation/Benefits for the Warehouse Coordinator
Pay rate from $23 to $25
