Masis Staffing Solutions is currently hiring CERTIFIED Forklift Operators for a Pressure-treated Lumber facility based in Greenville, SC. This is a 1st shift position 8 AM – 4:30 PM Monday – Friday Sit Down – Forklift Experience Certification Required), (Bi-lingual is a plus)

Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator

• Receive, audit, inspect, ID and put away incoming material to proper locations 
• Maintain housekeeping and organization in warehouse and other material location area 
• Maintain correct inventories by moving materials in computer when physically moving materials  
• One to two years related experience on sit down forklift
• Assists assigning production areas when not moving materials  
• Ensure the product and or materials meet quality expectations  
• Notify supervisor of improvement opportunities  
• Support area needs to remove empty pallets, trash and recycle type materials  
• Clean all parts and pieces using sandpaper, acetone on a cloth rag, or using air hose to blow off dust in tough to reach areas to ensure parts and pieces are ready to be painted 
• Service the pre-finish line with needed material components (loading paint carts with frame parts and door’s) 
• Assist pre-finish line area with removal of completed product to go to build prep and or stretch-wrap machine 
• Stage completed and stretch wrapped door products into shipping staging lanes by loads  
• Load trucks with finished door products per direction of Production Manager  
• Responsible for adhering to forklift, operational, quality and safety guidelines  
• Perform other duties as assigned  

Requirements of the Forklift Operator

• Valid forklift operator certification
• Experience operating rough terrain forklifts
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions (This is an OUTSIDE position).
• Knowledge of proper loading and unloading procedures
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols

Compensation for the Forklift Operator

• Salary: $17 and Up
