Fabricator/Welder Phoenix, AZ 85034 Masis Staffing is seeking a metal fabricator/welder for a well-established organization that has been servicing all 50 states since 2005. The company specializes in building a variety of products and custom fabrication in a production setting. They offer a strong culture and working environment in a smaller-sized company. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with Core hours being Monday to Thursday E/o Friday from 5:30 am to 3:00 pm. Responsibilities of the Fabricator:
Perform MIG welding on mild steel sheet metal, tubing and angle.
Perform TIG welding on aluminum and stainless-steel assemblies.
Build production assemblies in the allotted time and within tolerance with minimal supervision.
Interpret blueprints and weld symbols accurately as well as follow verbal instruction without deviations.
Use fixtures to create assemblies and ensure proper fitment of all parts.
Assist in jig and fixture builds.
Requirements of the MIG Welder:
5+ years of MIG welding experience.
1+ years of proficient TIG welding experience and have applicable experience within the last 6 months.
Experience with welding sheet metal to tubing and proper weld settings for material thickness.
In-depth knowledge of GMAW, TIG and Aluminum spool gun processes.
Must be able to pass AWS D1.1 weld certification.
Ability to interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
Jig and fixture build experience is a plus.
Dependable, motivated, team-player with a positive attitude.
Must have reliable transportation and great attendance.
Compensation of the MIG Welder:
$25 – 28.00/hour, based on experience and technical skillset.
