Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently according to company guidelines.
Conduct maintenance inspections on vehicles at the start and end of each shift.
Move materials from warehouse staging areas to trailers using forklifts.
Ensure materials are loaded safely, securely, and stably onto trailers.
Verify shipments and bills of lading; unload trailers with various materials.
Manage the organization and inventory of the shipping warehouse.
Use handheld scanners to accurately pick materials from designated locations.
Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Assist with physical inventories and maintain an orderly work area.
Adhere to company procedures, safety policies, and OSHA standards.
Attend safety meetings and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements of the Warehouse Associate
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move materials as required.
Familiarity with safety protocols and OSHA standards.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
Compensation/Benefits for the Warehouse Associate
1st shift opportunities available.
Pay rate of $18 per hour.
