We are currently looking for a Machine Operator associate to fill full-time positions for a 3rd shift for a company in Milford, NH.
Responsibilities of the Machine Operator
Machine Operators mechanically set up Univero line including installation of appropriate tooling and all auxiliary line equipment needed to produce varying cable designs described in the process instructions.
machine Operators consistently monitor the supply of raw material to ensure continuous operation.
Performs required measurements with company approved measuring devices to ensure
Verifies the measuring devices are calibrated.
Visually inspect neutral spools for damaged wires.
Performs cold welds of bare neutral wires to maintain spool operation.
Maintain accurate record keeping of all pertinent information, including work center records.
Take corrective action to ensure quality product.
Participates in scheduled team meetings and contributes to continuous improvement.
Participates in maintaining ISO certification.
Adheres to applicable System Level Procedures (SLPs) and Process Controls
Requirements of the Machine Operator
Machine Operators need to be able to lift up to seventy-five (75) pounds from the floor to chest.
Maneuver roll (exert up to one hundred (100) pounds of force), spin and align reels up to a 90” safely. (Johnson bar can be used to maneuver.)
Exert thirty (30) to fifty (50) pounds of force with cable cutters.
Visually inspect the quality of product.
Use handheld tools and measuring devices.
Compensation for Machine Operators
Salary: $18.20-$22.07 /hour starting pay – with pay increase after training.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7pm to 7am
