The lead carpenter position will be working in the Boston/Greater Boston area (Brookline, Cambridge, and surrounding area). The company is a residential home remodeling contractor that has been completing projects in Boston for almost 30 years!

Overview for the Lead Carpenter:

Oversee day-to-day construction labor on-site and contribute to project management activities.
Serve as the main point of contact for subcontractors and ensure effective communication.
Receive and manage material deliveries, including purchasing and picking up materials as needed.
Schedule and manage inspections, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Maintain and monitor the project schedule, ensuring deadlines are met.

Ideal requirements for the Lead Carpenter:

6-10 years of residential remodeling experience with a strong understanding of construction processes and techniques.
Demonstrated leadership abilities to serve as the on-site point of contact, guiding the team toward project completion.
A strong team player who enjoys collaborating with others and leading by example.
Self-motivated with a passion for learning and a drive to research new methods, materials, and techniques.
Holds yourself and your team to high standards of quality and professionalism.
Holds an active unrestricted MA Construction Supervisors license.

Compensation for Lead Carpenter:

Starting at $42-52 an hour, $1,150 in monthly benefits for you to use accordingly (health insurance, 401k, company vehicle, extra PTO, etc)
80 hours PTO, flexible with start and end time. Typically 7:30-4
