Job Title: Warehouse Manager / Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead and manage operations at a high-volume, customer-focused site. This hands-on role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of warehouse operations, including critical spare parts logistics, inventory accuracy, team performance, and process improvements.
The successful candidate will bring proven experience in supply chain logistics, inventory management, and team leadership, ideally within a technical or regulated industry. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for driving service excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of daily warehouse operations including goods receiving, order picking, deliveries, inventory control, and issue resolution.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing warehouse team.
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, reconciliation, and continuous process improvements.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure timely material availability and dispatch.
Ensure optimal staffing levels, cross-training, and effective time & attendance management.
Conduct daily stand-up meetings and participate in monthly performance reviews with senior management.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), driving initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Lead and implement lean practices (e.g., 5S, Six Sigma) and SOP development for best practices.
Oversee warehouse housekeeping to ensure the facility is always audit-ready.
Work closely with HR on performance management and employee relations.
Support occasional travel to client or regional sites and be flexible for after-hours or weekend requirements as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
Demonstrated ability in inventory control, logistics coordination, and warehouse operations.
Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Excel and ERP/WMS systems.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and customer-focused approach.
Certification and experience operating forklifts.
Familiarity with Lean principles and SOP creation.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience using SAP ERP and WMS systems.
Background working with technical components, industrial supplies, or cleanroom products.
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
Combination of office-based and hands-on floor supervision.
Occasional travel to customer or regional sites may be required.
Flexibility to support critical operations outside standard hours when necessary.
