Title:                General Production Line Worker
Status:             Full-Time Temp (Temp to Hire)

Job Description: 
The General Production Line Worker performs a variety of duties and is required to ensure products are packaged according to the company’s policies, procedures, trainings, and guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Report food safety concerns and any violations of company policies to management.
• Remove products that do not meet standards from production process
• Report any discrepancies or defects to the General Production Operator, Back up General Production Operator, Quality Control Manager, or Production Supervisor immediately.
• Assist with setting up, taking down, and cleaning production equipment.
• Label all lids and boxes to be used.
• Fill product in appropriate container, lid and band products according to specifications.
• Box product and palletize product to maintain product integrity during storage and transport.
• Transport boxed and palletized product to appropriate coolers and maintain storage logs appropriately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Loud machinery, requiring workers to wear ear protection.
• Frequent exposure to cool to cold temperatures for long periods.
• Workers are required to wear hair nets, frocks, nonslip shoes/boots

Educational Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior experience is preferred.
