Perform a variety of skilled tasks to install, maintain, and repair facility fixtures and structures.
Carry out hands-on building maintenance and repair work.
Apply knowledge of electrical, welding, and plumbing systems (preferred).
Complete preventive maintenance (PMs) on facility and production equipment, including but not limited to:
Steam supply
Air supply
Refrigeration
Water supply
Air handling systems
Production machinery
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic components, including 3-phase 480V and low-voltage (24VDC) systems.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools such as drill presses, grinders, and torches.
Comply with OSHA Safety and Health regulations at all times.
Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Must have the strength, stamina, and mobility to perform heavy physical work, including lifting 50–100 lbs.
Frequent stooping, kneeling, and climbing required.
Work may be performed outdoors in all weather conditions and around potentially hazardous environments.
Exposure to extreme heat, humidity, cold, and noise levels up to 92 dB.
3–5 years of general maintenance experience.
Working knowledge of production or processing facility equipment (dairy equipment experience preferred).
Experience with drywall and structural repairs.
Knowledge of roll-up door maintenance and repair.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
