About the Role
The Quality Engineer helps plan, maintain, and improve our Quality Management System. You’ll review customer requirements, manage audits, maintain certifications, and support continuous improvement on the production floor.
What You’ll Do
Create and update quality plans for new and existing jobs.
Review contracts and drawings to confirm requirements.
Maintain AS9100, ISO, NADCAP, and customer certifications.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Track and report quality metrics (PPM, escapes, corrective actions).
Train staff on quality procedures and documentation.
Support MRB activities, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Partner with engineers to apply statistical methods for process control.
What You’ll Need
2+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
1+ year managing AS9100/ISO quality systems.
Aerospace industry background required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Comfortable in both office and production settings.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and use standard measuring tools.
