Forklift Driver – 2nd Shift

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Forklift Driver to join our team on the 2nd shift. Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment to move raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products within the facility.
Support production by timely and efficient transfer of materials to meet manufacturing schedules.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials such as sugar, chocolate, and oils; accurately log receipts and ensure proper storage.
Properly label and store raw and packaging materials, maintaining organized inventory locations.
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain accurate stock levels.
Ensure all materials are stored correctly to prevent spills, contamination, or loss.
Follow all safety protocols, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), SQF standards, and plant-specific food safety and food defense procedures.
Report any equipment malfunctions, damage, or safety hazards immediately to management.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Valid forklift certification required.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal.
Basic math skills for counting, verifying shipments, and inventory management.
Prior experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred.
A strong commitment to safety and adherence to food safety standards.

Operating hours from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with flexibility to accommodate business needs.
Work Week: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts based on production requirements.
