Machine operator- Heat Treat Night Racker Weekend

Our client, a global leader in fastening products and technologies, is seeking a dedicated Heat Treat Racker for weekend shifts. This role is crucial in producing world-class fasteners using safe machine operating techniques and lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities of the Heat Treat Racker Weekend

Prioritize safety as the number one concern for all team members.
Place and drop screws into racks in preparation for the heat treating process.
Unload screws from racks post heat treatment.
Stack and organize screws into tubs efficiently.
Adhere to all safety rules and guidelines.
Collaborate with other rackers and machine operators to stack, mark, pack, and transport finished workpieces.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the team.

Requirements of the Heat Treat Racker Weekend

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills.
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
Ability to work in high noise areas with appropriate hearing protection.
Capability to mount/dismount forklifts using three points of contact.
Manual material handling skills, including gripping, squeezing, and pinching.
Ability to work in elevated ambient temperature environments.

Compensation/Benefits for the Heat Treat Racker Weekend

$18/HR plus 25% shift differential
