Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator

Safely operate forklifts to move materials and products within the facility.
Load and unload goods from trucks and storage areas.

Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
Assist with inventory management and organization of warehouse spaces.
Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

Requirements of the Forklift Operator

Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or industrial setting.
Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, if required.
