The Field Service Technician provides mechanical and electrical field service support for water and wastewater treatment systems, primarily reverse osmosis systems located at landfill sites. This position reports to the Operations Manager and requires frequent domestic travel with occasional international travel. The role is based in Roseboro / Raleigh, North Carolina and involves regular travel to customer sites as part of normal job duties.
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical treatment systems
Support commissioning, startup, and performance optimization of systems
Diagnose operational issues and document service activities
Perform basic laboratory and water chemistry analysis
Travel to customer sites and provide on-call or emergency support as required
Technical training in mechanics, electronics, or mechatronics; electrical experience required
Basic PLC competency and familiarity with wastewater treatment systems
High school-level chemistry; water chemistry experience preferred
Ability to work independently with strong safety awareness
Valid driver’s license, passport, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Salary range: $55,000–$75,000, based on experience
