Responsibilities of the Material Handler
Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
Prepare and package materials for shipment according to client specifications.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with our client's team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements of the Material Handler
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
