Masis Staffing has an immediate opening for a utility worker/sorter in the Kenosha area.

This is a 2-month contract, but it can last longer depending on production.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm

Pay: $18/hr (we pay weekly!)

Job Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow verbal and written directions. Must be able to read and understand the following: Shipping Orders, Bills of Lading, Packing Slips, Invoices, Pallet tags, etc.
  • Must have the ability to learn and maintain Lift Truck Operator's license, as applicable.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Various clean up and janitorial tasks.
  • Material sorting activities.
  • Comprehend and follow verbal and written directions. Must be able to read and understand Shipping Orders, Bills of Lading (BOL), Packing Slips, Invoices, etc. This Includes adding the required documentation (signatures, dates, and any other pertinent information) on all BOLs and forms as required.
  • Ability to earn and maintain Lift Truck Operators license. Electric lift trucks will be used for moving products in warehouses and to load/unload shipments, not applicable to minors.
  • Must be able to operate all equipment making safety and quality a priority.
  • Understand and follow safe charging and refueling of lift trucks and yard trucks.
  • Ability to use and follow proper lift truck aisles for movement of products, not applicable to minors.
  • Perform machine operator functions to include feeding materials into and operating semi-automatic equipment.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and neat warehouse.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including but not limited to, wearing proper protective equipment (PPE) working at heights, confined spaces, hazmat, etc.
