Masis Staffing Solutions is assisting our client in the food industry in searching for a Quality Assurance Specialist in Narraganset RI. Position is temp to perm.
Pay Rate: $18 – $19/hour depending on experience
Schedule: Monday – Friday (standard office hours)
Position Type: Temp to perm
Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance
Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure they meet established standards.
Load, unload, move, and stack materials in warehouses, distribution centers, or production areas.
Perform daily safety inspections and routine maintenance checks on all equipment.
Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
Read and interpret work orders, load tags, and shipping/receiving documents accurately.
Assist with inventory control by accurately scanning, labeling, and documenting materials.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and report any unsafe conditions to supervisors.
Requirements of the Quality Assurance
Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with teams.
Excellent organizational skills for managing tasks, records, and processes effectively.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, statistical analysis software, and automated testing software.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot quality issues and suggest process improvements.
