Job Overview
This role is responsible for planning and performing all electrical work related to the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and facility electrical equipment. The position supports operational efficiency by ensuring electrical systems function safely and effectively. You will collaborate with maintenance team members, engineering staff, mechanics, and contractors to complete electrical tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing machinery and facility electrical systems
• Develop troubleshooting procedures using PLC software and testing instruments
• Support preventive maintenance activities for facility and machinery electrical systems
• Ensure all work conforms to safety regulations including NFPA70E and MA Electrical Code
• Maintain facility network wiring and document all electrical work performed using maintenance management systems
• Support safety and process improvements through energy-saving initiatives and troubleshooting
Qualifications
Required:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of industrial experience
• MA Licensed Electrician – Class B (Journeyman) or Class A (Master)
• Ability to interpret electrical and technical diagrams and documents
• Ability to utilize electrical testing instruments (power/control/calibration)
Preferred:
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Troubleshooting skills
