Masis Staffing is seeking skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Assemblers for immediate 1st and 2nd Shift openings. Compensation & Schedule:

  • 1st Shift:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM
Contract Pay: $18.00/hour

  • 2nd Shift: *(Enjoy a 3-Day Weekend Every Week!)*

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 1:45 PM–11:45 PM
Contract Pay: $19.00/hour (Shift Differential)

  • Upon Direct, Full-Time Hire Pay Increase with our Client:

Starting Wage: $23.75/hour
30-Day Increase: $24.25/hour

The Role: Where Your Mechanical Knowledge Meets Precision

You will be the cornerstone of our assembly process, responsible for transforming components into finished products. We need individuals who understand how things fit together and why tools are used in specific ways.

Key Responsibilities & Daily Tool Use:

  • Precision Assembly: Interpret work instructions, blueprints, or schematics to assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and final products.
  • Expert Tool Operation: Safely and proficiently operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fixtures, including but not limited to:
  • Torque wrenches, screwdrivers (electric/pneumatic), nut runners
  • Calipers, micrometers, gauges for measurement and verification
  • Soldering irons, crimping tools (as needed)
  • Arbor presses, bench vises, and custom assembly jigs
  • Mechanical Inspection & Troubleshooting: Conduct in-process visual and functional inspections. Identify defects such as improper fits, thread issues, surface imperfections, or misalignments. Diagnose simple assembly issues and perform rework as required.
  • Technical Documentation & Systems: Use computer terminals to access digital work orders, pull schematics, log production data, scan parts, and manage inventory in the MRP/ERP system.
  • Quality & Safety Stewardship: Adhere to strict ISO-quality standards and all safety protocols (PPE, LOTO). Maintain a 5S-organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.

We Are Looking For Candidates Who Have:

  • Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, automotive repair, or a related hands-on technical field.
  • Tool Proficiency (Non-Negotiable): Demonstrated experience and comfort with a wide array of hand and mechanical tools. Please be prepared to discuss your experience in detail.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand technical processes, spatial relationships, and basic mechanical principles. Experience reading diagrams is a strong plus.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
  • Critical Mindset: A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to producing flawless work. You take pride in the quality and functionality of what you build.
  • Basic Tech Skills: Comfort using a PC for data entry and following digital instructions.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
