1st Shift Millwork / Cleaning Associate (Temp; 1–3 Weeks, Possible Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Jessup, MD
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (1st shift)
Pay: $17.50/hr (W2)
Assignment Type: Short-term (1–3 weeks) with potential temp-to-hire based on performance and business needs
Benefits: Paid sick time and paid vacation
PPE Required: Steel toe shoes required

Job Summary

We’re seeking a dependable Millwork / Cleaning Associate for a 1st shift role. This position supports the millwork/warehouse area by assisting with basic material handling and keeping work areas clean and organized. Ideal candidates are reliable, safety-minded, and comfortable doing physical work throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning/housekeeping in work areas (sweep, remove debris, keep stations tidy)
Assist with millwork support tasks as needed (moving materials, staging product, helping keep workflow organized)
Handle and move materials safely throughout the shift
Keep aisles and workspaces clear and organized to support a safe work environment
Follow all site safety rules and supervisor instructions
Maintain strong attendance and punctuality

Requirements

Steel toe shoes required
Reliable transportation
Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform repetitive bending/lifting
Ability to lift and carry materials as needed (experience in warehouse/general labor is a plus)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and following safety procedures
