Fabrication Technician – Custom Panel Assembly
 
Overview
Growing manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Fabrication Technician to assemble custom insulated panels used in temperature-controlled environments such as food production, cold storage, and industrial facilities.
This role is ideal for someone with carpentry, construction, or metal fabrication experience who enjoys working with their hands and building high-quality products from blueprints and specifications.
Responsibilities

  • Assemble custom insulated panels using standard carpentry and aluminum fabrication tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
  • Measure, cut, and fit materials to precise specifications
  • Operate hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, riveters, and measuring equipment
  • Assemble aluminum framing components and insulated panel materials
  • Install hardware, trim, and fasteners according to specifications
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow company safety procedures

Qualifications

  • Experience with carpentry, construction, fabrication, or manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints or mechanical drawings
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Reliable attendance and team-oriented mindset

Preferred Experience

  • Sheet metal or aluminum fabrication
  • Panel assembly or modular construction
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Use of measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and calipers
