Production Operator – 12-Hour Overnight Shift

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 2-2-3 rotation (4 days one week / 3 days the next) | Every other weekend
Pay: $23.00/hr. + 10% shift differential = $25.30/hr.

Growing pharmaceutical manufacturing facility is seeking a Chemical/Production Operator to support safe, compliant, and efficient production operations. Must have strong mechanic skills and able to troubleshoot equipment. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and cGMP (21 CFR 210 & 211) requirements
  • Operate reactors, distillation columns, filters, molecular sieves, pumps, and valves
  • Monitor gauges/meters and respond to alarms and process upsets
  • Perform real-time SAP data entry and complete accurate batch records
  • Take samples for QC and adjust pH of discharged water as required
  • Troubleshoot process and automation issues; submit and coordinate maintenance work orders
  • Handle hazardous chemicals (drums, totes, bulk tanks, cylinders, trucks)
  • Inspect equipment, record operations, and maintain audit-ready documentation
  • Support production targets and manufacturing schedules
  • Maintain 5S standards and perform housekeeping per schedule
  • Operate forklift and pallet jack
  • Cross-functional support for Maintenance, Packaging, Warehouse, Engineering, and QC
  • Report injuries, incidents, and near misses

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; 3 + years manufacturing/chemical operations experience preferred
  • Ability to read procedures, write routine reports, and perform basic math (ratios, percentages, unit conversions)
  • Comfortable working with automated systems and control processes
