Job Title: Forklift Driver
Location: Batavia, IL
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Job Description:
The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating powered industrial trucks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role supports daily operations by moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate has experience operating multiple types of equipment and is comfortable working with warehouse systems and inventory processes.
Responsibilities:

• Operate stand-up forklift, dock equipment, cherry picker, and turret truck safely and efficiently
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of materials
• Move products to designated storage areas, racks, or staging locations
• Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory and complete transactions
• Verify product counts, measurements, and documentation for accuracy
• Assist with order picking, staging, and preparing shipments as needed
• Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating stand-up forklift, dock equipment, cherry picker, and turret truck (required)
• Comfortable using computers, warehouse systems, and RF scanners
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to count accurately and identify measurements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
