Our client is seeking a meticulous Quality Tech II to join their team and play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards. This position involves performing detailed inspections, documenting results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities of the Quality Tech II
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
Identify, document, and help process nonconforming materials/products.
Rework or reject products as required under established quality procedures.
Accurately record inspection findings and quality data in internal systems and databases.
Maintain controlled documents, inspection records, and test documentation.
Review production and device history records for compliance with established procedures.
Assist in creating, updating, and improving inspection procedures and work instructions.
Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production teams in a timely manner.
Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities as needed.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Requirements of the Quality Tech II
High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of experience in quality inspection, quality technician, or manufacturing quality work preferred.
Experience with incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and inconsistencies.
Experience documenting results accurately in databases or quality systems.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with production, engineering, and quality teams.
Familiarity with nonconformance and corrective action processes is a plus.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of basic quality tools and inspection techniques.
Experience maintaining controlled records and documentation.
Comfort using computers for data entry and quality tracking.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the production floor for extended periods.
Ability to lift and move materials as needed within job requirements.
Ability to perform visual inspections with a high level of accuracy.
