We are a service and installation contractor providing heating, air-conditioning, and boiler/burner services to commercial and industrial facilities throughout New England. Due to substantial growth and increasing demand for advanced technical expertise, we are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to cover Massachusetts, focused primarily on commercial unit service.

This is a field-based role for a highly skilled technician who can troubleshoot complex systems, work independently, and consistently deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
  • Diagnose and repair commercial/industrial boiler and burner systems.
  • Service and troubleshoot equipment including RTUs, split systems, VRF systems, and water-source heat pumps.
  • Read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical issues using a multimeter.
  • Work on major market brands such as Trane, Carrier, York, Mitsubishi, Daikin, Lennox, and others.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and internal team members to ensure a high-quality service experience.
  • Work independently in the field with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5–7 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
  • 5+ years of commercial/industrial boiler and burner experience.
  • EPA Certification required.
  • Valid Massachusetts refrigeration license required.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot using a multimeter.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Clean and neat appearance with excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Stable work history (no more than 2 jobs in the past 5 years).
  • Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check.

  • Competitive hourly rate: $40–$50/hour, based on experience.
  • Guaranteed 32 hours of pay each week.
  • Overtime paid after 8 hours in a day.
  • On-call standby pay with a rotation of roughly 1 week every 2.5–3 months.
