Relief Operator

Our client is seeking a dedicated Relief Operator to join their team and ensure seamless operations in their injection molding department. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, this opportunity is for you!
Responsibilities of the Relief Operator
Provide coverage for regular machine operators during breaks and lunch periods.
Tend to automatic machines while performing relief duties.
Communicate with operators to maintain machine cycles and ensure the production of quality parts.
Remove parts from machines, trim flash, and grind sprues according to specified procedures.
Conduct visual inspections of molded parts at specified intervals using various measuring tools.
Document quality findings and complete non-conformance reports as needed.
Package parts according to specified instructions and complete all production paperwork.
Move products to designated areas to maintain continuous production activity.
Detect and report faulty operations or defective materials to supervisors immediately.
Comply with all safety rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Requirements of the Relief Operator
Ability to perform diversified duties and relieve regular machine operators.
Proficiency in using micrometers, digital and dial verniers, and go-no-go gauges.
Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct quality checks.
Physical ability to move about, bend, and exert 25-50 lbs.
Continuous visual acuity and mental attention to perform secondary operations.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members.
Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety procedures.
