Quality Control Inspector

Our client, a leader in the production of life-saving medical device components, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector for the 2nd shift. Join our client's team and contribute to the future of innovation and excellence.
Responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections at random to assess product quality.
Inspect and test materials and products by measuring dimensions, examining functionality, and comparing results to quality expectations.
Utilize a variety of measurement devices, fixtures, and equipment, including tape measures, pin gages, laser micrometers, magnifiers, and vision systems.
Follow good documentation practices (GDP) for recording all inspection results and activities.
Remove or discard products and equipment that fail to meet specifications.
Adhere to manufacturing and quality processes, including testing and documentation, to ensure products meet specified criteria.
Collaborate with the team to maintain a high level of accuracy and quality standards.
Requirements of the Quality Control Inspector
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Ability to inspect products using various inspection tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.
Ability to read and comprehend drawings, specifications, procedures, manuals, and work instructions.
Strong communication skills and comfort working in a team environment.
Preferred: Proficiency with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and/or FDA/cGMP quality system requirements.
Preferred: American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Inspector Certification or similar.
Preferred: 3-5 years of quality control and/or laboratory experience, preferably in a manufacturing or medical organization.
Preferred: Six Sigma green belt certification and/or experience with continuous improvement tools and techniques.

Pay Rate $18.00
