Inventory Control Associate – Warehouse
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate to support accurate inventory management in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable working on their feet.
Responsibilities
General Duties:
Assist the Inventory Control Manager in maintaining accurate warehouse inventory records
Support and serve as backup for cycle counts
Specific Duties:
Inspect and verify inventory across all warehouse locations
Use a handheld scanner to scan each storage slot
Record expected inventory (LP, item number, quantity)
Record actual inventory found in each slot and identify discrepancies
Report findings and communicate updates to the Inventory Control Manager
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the process
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for the full shift (8+ hours)
Comfortable using handheld equipment (scanner, clipboard, writing tools)
Strong visual attention to detail to identify and differentiate products
Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment (including freezer, refrigerated, and ambient conditions)
Must be able to perform basic math and read/write in English
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous warehouse, inventory, or produce/food industry experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
