Inventory Control Associate – Warehouse

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate to support accurate inventory management in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable working on their feet.

Responsibilities

General Duties:

• Assist the Inventory Control Manager in maintaining accurate warehouse inventory records
• Support and serve as backup for cycle counts

Specific Duties:

• Inspect and verify inventory across all warehouse locations
• Use a handheld scanner to scan each storage slot
• Record expected inventory (LP, item number, quantity)
• Record actual inventory found in each slot and identify discrepancies
• Report findings and communicate updates to the Inventory Control Manager
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the process

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the full shift (8+ hours)
• Comfortable using handheld equipment (scanner, clipboard, writing tools)
• Strong visual attention to detail to identify and differentiate products
• Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment (including freezer, refrigerated, and ambient conditions)
• Must be able to perform basic math and read/write in English

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous warehouse, inventory, or produce/food industry experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
