Are you someone who takes pride in maintaining cleanliness and order? Our client in Peabody is seeking a dedicated Trash Handler to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient removal and disposal of waste, contributing to a safe and organized environment.
Responsibilities of the Trash Handler
Collect and remove trash and recyclables from designated areas.
Transport waste materials to dumpsters or compactors.
Ensure work areas remain clean, sanitary, and free of debris.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Properly handle and dispose of waste in accordance with local regulations.
Report any safety hazards, spills, or damaged equipment to supervisors.
Assist with general cleanup duties as needed.
Requirements of the Trash Handler
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy items.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills to report issues effectively.
Familiarity with waste disposal regulations is a plus.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
