Job Title: Pipe Fitter
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, Weekends as needed 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $40–$45 per hour (DOE)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter to join a fabrication and industrial team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong technical ability, precision measuring skills, and the ability to complete hands-on fitting and layout work. Candidates must be able to pass a practical skills assessment prior to hire.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints, spool sheets, and fabrication drawings
• Perform layout, measurement, and fitting of pipe spools with high accuracy
• Ensure pipes are cut, aligned, and squared correctly for fabrication and installation
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Assemble and fit pipe components according to specifications
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in industrial or fabrication environments
• Strong understanding of pipe layout, alignment, and squaring techniques
• Ability to read spool sheets and technical drawings
• Experience with measuring tools and fabrication equipment
• Ability to pass a hands-on skills test (including measuring a spool and demonstrating square alignment on pipe)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work full shifts in a physically demanding environment
Assessment Requirement:
Candidates will be required to complete a hands-on evaluation, including:
• Measuring a pipe spool accurately
• Demonstrating proper techniques for squaring pipe
