Quality Manager – Manufacturing (Plastic Injection Molding)
Permanent Direct Hire role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead all quality assurance activities in our manufacturing plant. This role ensures products meet customer, regulatory, and industry standards while driving continuous improvement across processes and teams.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain quality control procedures and standards
• Lead, train, and manage the quality team
• Oversee inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished goods
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety policies, and regulatory requirements
• Lead internal audits (ISO 9001:2015) and maintain audit records
• Address customer quality concerns and provide required documentation
• Prepare quality reports with metrics, trends, and improvement plans
• Partner with production, engineering, and sales to promote a culture of quality
• Provide quality training and stay current on industry best practices

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
• 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
  (Blow molding or injection molding experience preferred)

• Strong knowledge of quality tools, inspection methods, and regulatory standards in plastics manufacturing
• Experience maintaining ISO9001, ISO13485, or SQF systems
• Experience leading customer and certification audits
• Six Sigma certification preferred
• Strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills
• Experience with quality software and automated inspection equipment is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Frequent computer use requiring close and color vision
• Repetitive hand and arm movements
