Masis is hiring for a 3rdShift fabric prep in Amherst NH. Payrate is $18/hour.

Operate a hydraulic trimming press to load and unload parts and items to cut, shape, trim, punch holes and separate material from parts; perform various hand trimming operations; perform non-complex (sub)assembly and work processing. 

Essential Elements:

• Perform routine hand and machine operations to load, unload, and operate singe stage, single or multiple cavity hydraulic presses to cut, trim or separate, split, shape, punch holes, process and make non-complex subassembly or final assembly of parts and components. Make necessary visual or gaged )template parts inspections.
• Have first and subsequent pieces inspected. Visually check parts prior to machine or hand operations and upon completion of processing. Separate bad or questionable rejects.
• Count, identify, box-pack and stack completed work or items to be inspected and move to holding area.
• Operate other hydraulic presses to perform (sub)assembly and fabrication operations. May be required to operate vacuum parts holder apparatus.

Secondary Functions:

• As required, spray molds with mold release medium. Hand separate “flash” from inadequately trimmed parts and perform other hand operations to complete trimming activities.
• Complete work sheets and work travelers, note job and job number, times worked, machine used, performance of duties or as directed. Detect and report improper operation of faulty equipment and questionable conditions to supervisor. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations. Maintain quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as required.
